Joe Cardamone is an LA-based experimental musician, producer, auteur and artist, formerly of The Icarus Line. For Automatic with Vanessa Matic's opening episode, we couldn't think of a more provocative, interesting guest as Joe is one of the most influential musicians around, recently creating his solo project, "Holy War Collection" which forges a contemporary fusion of R&B, electronics and the combative spirit of his formative punk rock years.

Michael Oblowitz was born in Cape Town, South Africa, where he grew up surfing in the 1970's. His film, The Traveller, starring Val Kilmer won an award for Best Thriller Feature at the 2011 New York International Independent Film & Video Festival. His first surfing documentary, Sea of Darkness, won Best Feature award at the New York Surf Film Festival. He's also produced music videos for David Bowie and Diana Ross.
